Tyshaun James, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons in May 2022 as an undrafted free agent, claims football is more than just a sport. James has fallen in love with the ups and downs of football through the years, claiming the process takes you to the next level. Being able to withstand hard days and challenges differentiates a good player from a great player. There is no doubt that this industry has highs and lows. It will brutally test the minds and bodies of even the strongest players. James’s lessons from this game will stay with him far beyond his time on the field. “Football isn’t just about the game on the field. The work on the field allows me to express myself in a different light off it. The strength that I put in to push through setbacks and doubts has brought me closer to God and my family and I owe it all to the game,” said James.
